Self Care – Self Help – Self Love

*Continuance of “My Story” starting with Blog #1: When your life flashes before your eyes in a flood gate of memories…

When we hear the word self help or self care it is actually interesting how many people don’t want to hear someone’s advice, recommendation, or opinion.  WHY?  If we have a problem or issue, and we ourselves ASK for advice, why don’t we want to hear someone’s answer(s)?  Is it because we don’t like to feel like we are being told what to do?  Is it because we might be intimidated that someone knows something we don’t?  Maybe if we get answers we don’t want to actually have to put forth an effort to reap a result?

Switching gears… Since cancer is at an all time epidemic, do we want to research, ask questions or even find out ways to help ourselves to diminish the likelihood of it happening to us?  Wait, do we even want to face this reality?  If we don’t, then I guess it’s safe to say you should stop reading right now.  Sorry, but that’s the truth.  But, in the case that you want to help yourself, your children, your significant other, grand kids, etc., then read on!

There are a lot of all methods to cure cancer naturally.  I can say this because I did it(and NO I’m not bragging).  Truthfully and humbly I’m SHARING what I’ve learned.  Some of these non-invasive treatments include but are not limited to the following; eating an organic/clean diet, eating specific cancer killing foods, drinking different cancer killing Teas, Juicing, Thermography, Homeopathic Remedies, Detoxification, Addressing Vitamin Deficiencies, Essential Oils, Herbs, Spices, the Gerson Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), Colon Hydrotherapy, Homeopathy, Massage, Acupuncture, Exercise, drinking pure/clean water, eating oxygenating foods, doing self-care, taking care of yourself (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually), Chiropractic, natural remedies, decreasing stress, son photo dynamic therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, far Infrared and Near Infrared Saunas, Pulse Electromagnetic Frequencies, aiding diet with additional supplementation, Apricot Seeds, Sunlight, eliminating Amalgam fillings, balancing your energy, all of these practices of true prevention of illness and disease.

Okay, so that was a long list.  How many of the things on the list have you done in your life already?  How about doing 1 right now?  Or, pick a few that you’d like to implement into your lifestyle in the future?  Speaking for myself there’s a few on here that I haven’t done before that I DO want to try… specifically the Saunas and oxygen chamber!

What we feed our bodies each day impacts our health.

Here are some foods, herbs and spices that can aid in diminishing cancer cells.  And yes, they are very helpful!  I speak from firsthand experience along with many other individuals.  (Please keep in mind everything should be certified ORGANIC!)

Herbs & Spices include but aren’t limited to *Turmeric, Ginger(Ginger is PROVEN to be STRONGER than Chemotherapy to kill cancer cells), Garlic, Black Pepper, Rosemary, Curcumin(found in Tumeric), Oregano, Parsley, Dill, Coriander, Basil, Thyme, Cayenne Pepper.

Leafy Green Vegetables are the foundation of any healthy diet, since they are exceptionally rich in minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes.  Leafy greens are rich in antioxidants known to combat cancer, including beta-carotene(a type of Vitamin A) and Vitamin C. *Spinach, Kale, Collards, Mustard Greens, Arugula, Swiss Chard

Crucierfous Vegetables are powerful cancer killers and are some of the best Vitamin C foods available. *Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Onions, Garlic, Mushrooms.

Berries are high in antioxidants. *Blueberries, Cherries, Raspberries, Strawberries, Goji Berries, Blackberries.


Carbohydrates or Orange colored foods, which are high in carotenoids.  One of the carotenoids call beta-carotene is an essential nutrient for immune functioning; detoxification, liver health, and fighting cancers of the skin, eyes, and organs. *Sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, beets, pumpkin.

Nuts & Seeds *Chia seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts.

Healthy Unrefined Oils Did you know that your brain functions BECAUSE of GOOD QUALITY FATS? YES!  That’s why we NEED to eat GOOD fats! *Coconut oil, Flax oil, Cod Liver oil, Extra Virgin Olive oil, Ghee, clean animal fats.

Food is medicine and fueling our bodies with nutrient dense foods IS important!

What goes into our bodies is critical…

This is yet another important topic to discuss.  Before we start, guys, if you love your gals PLEASE not only read this, but share it with them!  And women, please read for own benefit and share with other women in your life.

Each month women have their menses/menstrual cycle(AKA what we women call “period”).  The products that most women use, sitting readily available on store shelves to buy, are filled chemicals and toxins.  Whether they are fragrance free or not, they’re toxic?  Why?  It’s what they are made up of, toxic ingredients.  Ever heard of Toxic Shock Syndrom(TSS)?  The ingredients in the most commonly used menstrual famine products, bleached and pesticide filled rayon, cotton, viscose and wood shavings(yes, those are in feminine products) aid in causing Toxic Shock Syndrome… also leading to cervical cancer and uterine cancer that are both prevalent these days.  If these toxins are next to the most vulnerable tissue of women, the Uterus, should this a concern?  I don’t care if you’re a man or women, I would think it should be.  If we are utilizing products that are filled with toxins right into our body, we are putting our most precious tissue at risk for disease, illness, and possibly as women becoming unable to conceive children.  So what can we do to put a stop to this issue?

Could it be so simple as to buy Organic Chemical and toxic free Tampons and/or Pads?  YES!  A couple popular SAFE brands are NatraCare & Seventh Generation, but there are a  number of brands out there.  Does your body get tired of using the same products? Tampons hurt?  Tired of sanitary pads?  It might be time to try using a Menstrual Cup. This product is easy to purchase online and is a SAFE alternative(and VERY cost effective).

Guys and gals, our bodies aren’t something to be continually put at risk for disease and illness.  What we put into our bodies IS important.  Today, and from here on out, we each have a number of self helps that we can choose to(or not to) implement into our daily lives.  Self help is self care.  Self care is showing self love.  How about we each make some simple changes for the better in how we love and care for ourselves!?!
