Are you feeling imbalanced, groggy, having sinus issues, tired, stiff, sore, or have itchy eyes and/or ears? If you’ve answered “yes” to any of these, we here at Helping Hands Therapeutic Massage & Body Work can help!
Each season we recommend that a person has their ears candled. With each season change, our bodies do a natural “cleansing” as they prepare for the next season. That being said, it can be hard for our bodies to keep up with the cleansing/detoxification process. So what are some SIMPLE ways to help our body with this process that are EASY?
1) Ear Candling: Ear Candling takes 1 hour to candle both ears. Some of the benefits are: no more itchy ears, less sinus congestion, reduces ringing in the ears, and improves hearing. Ladies and gentlemen, does your spouse constantly say, “What did you say? I can’t hear you!”? If so, it’s time for some Ear Candling!
Our ears regularly make wax so it’s good to get our ears candled to get the wax out. How often should we have it done? Once a season is ideal. Some individuals may need it more often due to work environment, allergies, dust/pollen, etc.
Ear Candling has been around for hundreds of years and is very effective to remove ear wax, ear wax build up, improve hearing (varies for individuals), reduces sinus issues, tinnitus, swimmers ear, and so much more.
2) Another simple way to help our body with the cleansing/detoxification process is Massage. Massage Therapy is a great way to relax, rejuvenate, and refresh both you and your body. You work hard and your body does too. Receiving a healing massage has numerous benefits: Reduces muscle tension, improves circulation, stimulates the lymphatic system, reduces stress hormones, increases joint mobility and flexibility, improves skin tone, and improves recovery of soft tissue injuries. As we prepare for the next season it’s important to help our bodies prepare by setting the tone for getting off to the right start, and massage definitely does this!
Summer is just around the corner, so if you haven’t gotten a massage recently now is a great time to do so! Also, if you haven’t tried Ear Candling now is a super time to try it too!
We surely hope you take some time for yourself! Give your body break and set up an appointment for some Ear Candling, a Therapeutic Massage, or BOTH! Take some time for you and your body to rejuvenate and heal. You’ll be glad you did!
We hope to see you soon!
