Let’s Ponder

It’s January. The holidays are over and a new year is well under way. This time of year leaves me in a place of reflection.

I personally am not the type to make New Years resolutions, but instead I like to think about, ponder, the entirety of the previous year and reflect upon it. Today and lately I’ve been doing just that.

Last year was an interesting one to say the least. With differences amongst people that are ever creating a greater divide amongst people, it makes me really think about where this world is headed. But, I’m not trying to be doom and gloom with bringing that subject up, it just really makes me sit here and think; what is the world going to be like in the years to come? Last year was interesting in SO many ways. Many good ways and many well, not so great. But, as I say, “It is what it is. And its gonna be what its gonna be. God is in control and I just need to do my part the best I can.”

So what’s 2022 going to be like? Honestly, I don’t know. I’m willing to guess it’s going to be another VERY interesting one. Do you? As I get older I think about how much the world has changed since I was a kid. Its seems there are less people willing to work hard. Less people living their life with truth and integrity. There is less happiness and cheerfulness in the world at large. People are quiet… and afraid to speak using their God given voice they were given. Less people are investing in the life they’ve been given by Papa God. And it seems people are less willing to dig for information and question what really is the truth?

I believe every single person has the Holy Spirit living inside of them. It just seems to me that people’s spirits are being diminished and smothered out in this day-an-age. Maybe it’s so as not to hear the truth? Or maybe so as not to go out and do as the Lord has put on your heart to do? I guess that’s for each and every one of us to ponder.

This year I want to encourage each and every last one of us to sit in the quiet and reflect on whatever is on our heart, mind, and spirit. May we each take the time to actually do this instead of simply “having intentions”. Intentions are good, but action is required for them.

Peace and quiet really are a good overall stress reducer and IS healthy. It’s time for each of us to take time to quiet our brain, strengthen our heart, and allow our mind to relax. Lean into this time to find peace and understand within your heart and yourself.

God has us all in this world for such a time as this. Papa God doesn’t make mistakes, ever. You are beautiful and you are in this world for a special reason. Many reasons actually! May you NEVER EVER forget that! As we each go our separate ways, it is my hope that you would take some time to sit and reflect in the peace and quiet.

Oh, and before we part, I want to say thank you. Thank you for reading our blogs, and for interacting and communicating with us. Thank you for your love and support. We’ve been blogging for a little over three years and we’ve had well over 25,000 people read our blogs. Considering we’ve only written about 165 blogs and never once paid to advertise, let alone only share our content on 3 social media forms, that’s incredible. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading our content. We hope and pray that it blesses any and everyone. That’s been our hope and prayer since day #1. God uses any and everyone to bless others and we hope that with our blogs we are posting are doing just that. We enjoy it. If we didn’t, trust me, we wouldn’t do it.

Alas, thank you for meeting us again here on the blog today. We love and appreciate you. May you enjoy the rest of today and find peace and quiet to reflect just as you are doing so now!

  2. Pretty impressive, a person doesn’t have to travel half way around the world to be on mission, you can spread the good news anywhere 😉
